If you want to
... learn a musical instrument in a fun and playful way
... learn a solid foundation and develop good playing habits
... play melodies and harmonies while you spice up playing with percussive sounds and grooves
... learn the repertoire of compositions on the way
... understand Rhythm and Odd-Metre Rhythms
... learn advanced techniques like the Split Hand and Floating Hand
... achieve independence and freedom in your playing
then this bundle of Level 1 & Level 2 courses is for you!
In Level 1, we will start with the very basics - how to create the various sounds on the instrument.
Soon you will put these sounds to use in musical pieces, starting slowly and working your way up.
Once you are comfortable with the basics, we will continue with subjects like ghost notes, arpeggios, Middle-Eastern rhythms and percussive sounds that you can integrate into your playing.
In Level 2, we continue where Level 1 ended. You will use the skills and knowledge that you already have and dive deeper into the world of handpan, music and percussion.
The exercises on Independence will allow you to compose and improvise melodies in a structured way and the various doublestroke techniques open a door into the world of hand- and fingerdrumming concepts from India and South America.
All videos are recorded from your (the player's) perspective with animated notations, slow-motion on demand and playalong tracks that are way more fun than any metronome.
